Benefits Management

Benefits Management is a concept that many organisations today struggle with. Who should be accountable for benefits, including their realisation?

Often benefits are seen as the domain of project management. It is not usually during the project that benefits are realised. Generally it is after the project has been delivered, once the deliverables of that project have been embedded into the business and operational use, that we hope to see benefits accruing. This may be months (or even years) after the closure of the project.

PM-Partners group have recently had confirmation from the APMG that they have commenced work on new guidance and associated exams for Benefits Management.  The guide (and exams) are due to be released in the latter half of 2012.

As such, PM-Partners have decided to delay the launch of our Benefits Management workshop offering.  Our new Benefits Management workshops will be available in line with the 2012 APMG guide release.

We apologise for any inconvenience in terms of the delay of this offering but believe that this is a strategic decision that will benefit everyone in the long term.

In the interim we happy to offer on-site briefing sessions in Benefit Management.
