| THE PROCESS |

Support from PM-Partners group staff is available to candidates throughout the program. To obtain the qualification, candidates must compile a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence. This will involve the following:
|
| EACH CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE: BRIEFING WORKSHOP |
During the Briefing Workshop PM-Partners group will explain the National Competency Standards for Project Management, the requirements for competency-based awards within the Australian Qualifications Framework and the Skills Recognition process. |
| SKILLS RECOGNITION FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT MANUAL | Each candidate will receive a Skills Recognition for Project Management manual containing:
|
| SELF ASSESSMENT GUIDANCE |
Candidates will be provided with information for initial self assessment (with support from PM-Partners group) to identify the appropriate competency-based award. |
| ASSESSMENT AND SUPPORT |
Following receipt of the portfolio of evidence a qualified assessor will conduct a competency based assessment in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework for the appropriate Project Management award. Where sufficient evidence is not available and a workplace assessment and/or coaching is required, PM-Partners group will provide a separate and itemised proposal. All candidates receive support and instruction from the PM-Partners group’ facilitation and assessment team from beginning to end. Support can usually be carried out by email and telephone |
| SKILLS RECOGNITION OUTCOME REPORT |
PM-Partners group will advise each candidate of the outcome of the assessment and if/where applicable, how to address any gaps in competency. |
| AWARD | Once the assessment is completed satisfactorily and skills have been formally recognised, a statement of attainment or qualification is issued by the RTO (ETAS WA Pty Ltd RTO #1967) in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework. |
