Program Director – Divestment Project

We are seeking an accomplished Program Director to lead a high-profile divestment program within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, driving program delivery, and ensuring alignment across multiple complex workstreams.
This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience managing large-scale transformation or divestment programs, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence at the executive level. The Program Director will ensure program objectives are met on time, within scope, and in line with organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight across a multi-workstream divestment program.
- Develop and maintain the program roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor program performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, executives, and external partners to maintain transparency and decision-making confidence.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver program outcomes.
- Drive governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the program.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Program Director or senior program leader managing large-scale, complex initiatives, preferably within financial services.
- Strong understanding of divestment, M&A, or major transformation programs.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple interdependent workstreams and deliver successful outcomes.
- Experience with program governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks.
