Adam is a transformation expert who drives reinvention through complex global and globalizing companies who employ large workforces and face significant challenges.

He has consulted with businesses and Government Departments in Asia, East & West Europe and Australia.  He has helped working multinationals, digital disruptors and governments manage their efficiency upgrades, digital reinvention, rapid growth, complex mergers, cross-cultural confrontations, joint ventures and downsizing.

Over the past few years he has been delivering customised transformation solutions, advising CEOs and Boards in the public and private sectors.

Adam graduated from Australian National University with majors in Economics and Accounting where he received the Australian Chartered Accountants University Prize and was awarded the prestigious ATTA Annual Award for Transformation/Disruption of the Year in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

He was named as 1 of the Top 20 most influential Australians in Asia by BRW and was granted the Order of Australia Medal (OAM).

Kyle is a Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Advisor with more than two decades of experience across the commercial, community and public sectors. He has a particular interest and focus in the technology, automobile, infrastructure, emergency services, health, disruptive business and tourism industries.
Kyle is currently a Non-Executive Director of Credit Union Australia, Chair of Drive Yello, Chair of Hunter Medical Research Institute and a Conjoint Professor in the Faculty of Business and Law at University of Newcastle. In December 2017 Kyle completed a three-and-a-half-year term as Chairman of the NRMA where he directed a period of significant cultural and operational change requiring considerable strategy and risk expertise.

Other highlights include: Deputy President of the Australian Automobile Association, Director of Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and board member of the Committee for Sydney.

In an executive capacity he established, grew and managed an independent car broking business that disrupted the motor vehicle retail industry. The company was purchased by a listed company.

Kyle is a Fellow of the AICD, has completed an MBA and a Harvard Business School Certificate in Disruptive Strategy and is currently participating in a Transformation Leadership Program at ANU.

CASE STUDY

Kyle Loades, former Chairman of the NRMA, will share his experience of leading the NRMA from an organisation that could have been severely disrupted with the introduction of new technology and automation to a thriving future proofed entity. He will discuss transformation success factors including strategy, business models, culture, capability and alternative revenue streams. He will also discuss how Australian organisations need to look globally at best practice, mega-trends and take decisive leadership action.

Tony’s career spans more than 38 years in rail.

Tony is currently Executive Director, Future Network Delivery at Sydney Trains. In this role he oversees the significant program of works needed to build the Sydney Trains network to cater for future rail growth and demand in Sydney.

Tony was responsible for the successful coordination of rail transport for the Sydney Olympic Games. In 2011 Tony was seconded to Transport for London to assist with the planning for the 2012 London Olympics.

In 2006 Tony was awarded a Public Service Medal for outstanding public service, dedication and sustained commitment to State Rail and RailCorp in NSW.

Michelle is the Design Director and founder of Neoteny, where she heads a team of Designers working across transformational and strategic system, product and service design projects for local and international clients. With a background in Industrial Design, Michelle has over 13 years of experience investigating, designing, building and transmitting world-class products and services for clients such as Tourism Australia, the Australian Federal Government, Etihad, NAB, Australian National University and Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Michelle has also recently founded Train, Neo’s design education arm working with organisations to build effective, internal human-centered design (HCD) capability. Train has successfully built capability with clients including Contiki, Australia Post, and IAG.

Jodie Sangster is the CMO Liaison Lead for IBM Watson. Prior to IBM, Jodie was the CEO of The Alliance for Data Leadership (AADL), a network of industry associations including the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA), the Institute for Analytics Professionals of Australia (IAPA), Digital + Technology Collective (DTC) and Data Governance Australia (DGA). Jodie’s extensive experience in the fields of global data-driven marketing and advertising spans over 20 years and includes experience throughout the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. She is a qualified lawyer, specialising in privacy and data protection.

Jodie also chairs the Global Alliance of Data-Driven Marketing Associations (GDMA), a consortium of 27 data-driven marketing associations around the world with a mandate to advance and champion responsible global marketing and advertising. She is a non-Executive Director on the Board of Amaysim, Australia’s fourth largest telco.
