Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Queensland Remote

Contract Type: 6 month contract

Rate: $800 – $850 inc Super

We are seeking Business Analysts to support the design, review and improvement of complex business processes and enterprise systems. These roles sit within a large, multi‑stakeholder environment and offer exposure to discovery, process optimisation, system enhancement and strategic review initiatives.

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside project managers, technical specialists and business leaders to:

  • Capture and analyse current‑state processes, systems and pain points
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across diverse user groups
  • Define and document future‑state processes, business and system requirements
  • Support workflow design, governance improvements and system enhancement initiatives
  • Translate complex information into clear, concise and actionable documentation
  • Contribute to solution options, recommendations and implementation artefacts
  • Support knowledge transfer through documentation, presentations and workshops
  • Depending on the assignment, analysis activities may focus on areas such as workflow automation, governance and approvals, curriculum or lifecycle processes, staff or profile management systems, customer communication preferences, or admission and onboarding processes.

Key Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Strong background in business process analysis and requirements definition
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with senior and operational stakeholders
  • High‑quality documentation skills with strong attention to structure and clarity
  • Ability to work with moderate autonomy and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Exposure to workflow design, approval frameworks or governance processes
  • Experience with enterprise platforms, integrations or data‑enabled systems
  • Familiarity with BPMN or similar process modelling techniques
  • Background in regulated, public sector or higher education environments
