An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Business Central Application Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform across ERP delivery, hypercare, and ongoing enhancement phases. This role will act as the key point of accountability for application performance, change delivery, and solution quality, ensuring the platform is stable, optimised, and aligned to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Business Central application across delivery, hypercare, and post-go-live enhancement phases
- Act as the primary SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, translating business requirements into effective system solutions
- Engage and manage vendors and delivery partners across development, configuration, and support activities
- Lead hypercare support, including incident management, defect resolution, and post-go-live stabilisation
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying enhancement opportunities to improve system performance and usability
- Provide end-to-end accountability for test governance, including defining test strategies, coordinating UAT, and ensuring quality outcomes
- Oversee defect management processes, ensuring issues are effectively triaged, tracked, and resolved
- Support roadmap delivery through prioritisation, planning, and execution of incremental enhancements and releases
- Ensure all changes are appropriately tested, documented, and approved prior to deployment
- Maintain strong governance and reporting, providing clear insights into application health, risks, and delivery progress
Key Requirements
- Proven experience supporting or delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong understanding of ERP application lifecycle management across delivery and operations
- Demonstrated experience coordinating UAT and driving test governance within enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
- Ability to balance operational support, change delivery, and quality assurance responsibilities
Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting ERP rollouts, including hypercare and stabilisation phases
- Familiarity with structured testing methodologies and defect management tools
- Experience working within staged rollout or roadmap-driven delivery environments
