Senior Business Analyst – Credit Cards

Our client is seeking a commercially minded Senior Business Analyst to support a major transformation within their credit cards portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology delivery, with a strong focus on driving business outcomes, improving customer experience, and enabling growth across the cards business. The successful candidate will bring deep credit cards domain expertise, combined with the ability to shape initiatives that deliver tangible value.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with senior business stakeholders to define and refine strategic initiatives across the credit cards portfolio
• Translate business objectives into clear requirements, ensuring alignment to commercial goals and customer outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, products, and customer journeys across the cards lifecycle
• Support decision-making through data-driven insights, impact analysis, and business case development
• Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and deliver measurable value
• Drive workshops and stakeholder engagement, confidently challenging assumptions and influencing direction

Key requirements:

• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the credit cards domain (e.g. issuing, lifecycle management, or payments)
• Proven track record working on large-scale transformation programs with a clear focus on business outcomes
• Deep understanding of customer journeys, product constructs, and operational processes within cards
• Highly commercial mindset, with the ability to link delivery to revenue, cost, and customer impact
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at senior levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience supporting business cases and strategic initiatives
