Role: Senior Project Manager – Cyber

Location: Sydney, AUS

Rate: $1000 – 1100 p/d + super

The Senior Technical Project Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight in the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex, high-visibility initiatives with significant cross-functional dependencies. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while effectively managing resources, costs, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of technology implementations in collaboration with stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and execute project communication strategies to ensure timely and effective messaging to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and manage interdependencies across related initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives with departmental and business unit strategies, vision, and values.
  • Drive project execution to achieve defined objectives, milestones, and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and providing recommendations as needed.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with regional stakeholders and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant project documentation in line with governance standards.
  • Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, tracking expenditures and ensuring alignment between costs and anticipated benefits.

Work Experience

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical projects with multiple dependencies, particularly within cybersecurity and infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage budgets, schedules, and resources.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within an Agile delivery framework.
