Senior Project Manager / Program Manager – OT & IT

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Program Manager to support a major rail maintenance and construction program.

This role will focus on coordinating and delivering critical technology and infrastructure workstreams across a large-scale operational rail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple technology infrastructure workstreams across a complex rail program
• Manage delivery of core infrastructure components including:

• • Networks
  • Servers
  • Cloud services
  • Network connectivity
  • Proxy environments
  • WiFi and WAN infrastructure
  • Identity and security services
• Drive sequencing, planning, and coordination across approximately 11 workstreams
• Work closely with technical teams, vendors, architects, and operational stakeholders
• Support integration between IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments within maintenance plants and operational facilities
• Ensure successful delivery across infrastructure, security, and connectivity streams

Ideal Background

• Strong Infrastructure Project Management experience within large, complex environments
• Previous experience within rail, transport, construction, or heavy industrial environments highly regarded
• Exposure to both IT and OT environments preferred
• Strong understanding of:
  • Network infrastructure
  • Cloud platforms (ideally Azure)
  • Security and identity management
  • Enterprise connectivity solutions
  • Experience working alongside Solution Architects and technical delivery teams
•  Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and dependencies

Highly Desirable

• Rail or trains industry experience
• Experience supporting maintenance facilities, operational plants, or construction sites
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure delivery across large-scale programs
