Senior Delivery Lead – Cloud

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Delivery Lead to join a high-performing Cloud team, leading the delivery of strategic cloud transformation initiatives within a large enterprise environment.

This role will drive the onboarding and migration of workloads onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, helping accelerate enterprise cloud adoption while enabling modern technology and AI capabilities. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead complex delivery initiatives from planning through to execution, ensuring successful outcomes across multiple cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic cloud initiatives across GCP and AWS, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and develop practical delivery plans for cloud adoption and migration initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across business, technology, governance, and delivery teams to drive collaboration and successful outcomes.
• Manage delivery plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and key milestones.
• Drive Agile delivery practices, facilitating delivery cadence, managing priorities, and removing blockers across delivery teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies where required and maintain delivery visibility through Jira and regular reporting.
• Provide clear reporting on project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance requirements are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Experience required

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or Release Train Engineer, delivering complex technology programs within large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience delivering cloud transformation initiatives across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS. Experience with Azure is also highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with business stakeholders, translate requirements into actionable delivery plans, and drive successful outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Jira, dependency management, and delivery reporting.
• Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, complex risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Excellent communication, planning, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative, pragmatic, and outcome-focused approach with the ability to influence teams and maintain delivery momentum.
