The Generative AI for Business Analysts course offers a dynamic hands-on learning experience designed to integrate AI tools into business analysis activities. Participants will engage in practical exercises using AI prompts to navigate real-world business analysis scenarios and case studies. This approach ensures that learners not only grasp theoretical concepts but also apply them effectively to solve practical challenges related to data analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication.

Objectives
This course will enable participants to:
- Use AI to complete core business analysis tasks and generate fit-for-purpose information for input to BA artefacts, improving efficiency and output quality across the analysis lifecycle.
- Explain key AI concepts, including the benefits and limitations of current AI technologies and the commercial, ethical, and intellectual property considerations that apply when using AI in an organisational context.
- Apply prompt engineering frameworks to write effective prompts and optimise AI outputs through iterative refinement and maintain a prompt engineering log to build consistency over time.
- Identify practical AI applications across common BA tasks, including elicitation and research, requirement documentation, and stakeholder communication, and select the right approach for each context.

DO I NEED PRIOR AI EXPERIENCE TO ATTEND THIS COURSE?
No. The course is designed for practising business analysts who understand basic BA concepts. No prior AI experience is required; participants will work directly with AI tools throughout the day as part of the hands-on learning experience.
IS THIS COURSE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR BUSINESS ANALYSTS?
Yes. The Generative AI for Business Analysts course is built specifically for BAs, Data Analysts and Process Improvement Professionals. The content, scenarios and case studies are all grounded in business analysis activities, including requirement gathering, requirement documentation and stakeholder communication.

IS THIS A CERTIFIED COURSE?
No. There are no certifications or exams undertaken in this course. However, you do receive a Completion Certificate from PM-Partners group. Participants will also receive a digital badge.
